An associated host (introduced in QTM v0.5.6) is a hostname which can be specified in a Quickpost template which will trigger the use of that template whenever you quickpost a page from that host. This enables you to format any blog entry linking to that site in a given way. Recent entries on A Qt Blog provide examples of the usefulness of such a feature.

The feature is implemented so that it works if the associated host string occurs between either slashes or dots, or one of each. So, if you specify blogistan.co.uk and then quickpost an article from www.blogistan.co.uk or qtm.blogistan.co.uk, they will both prompt QTM to use the template associated with blogistan.co.uk.
